A fractional COO and operating partner based in Flagstaff, Northern Arizona.
Not another agency: Eat Sleep Launch Repeat is an operations consultancy and fractional COO practice headquartered in Flagstaff, Arizona. We install the systems, AI workflows, and trained leaders that let a business run without us, then we work our way out of the picture. Engagements run from Flagstaff and are delivered in person across Flagstaff, Sedona, Prescott, Phoenix, and Tucson, and remotely statewide and nationwide.
I'm Nick Jones.I built expansion operations at Uber, Lime, and Sealed. Those were roles, not clients, and I label them that way on purpose. A traditional agency profits from your dependence. We profit from your independence.
No pitch. You'll leave with two or three concrete next steps, whether or not we work together.
The point
We build the operating layer your company keeps.
Most help you can hire either does the work for you forever or hands you a slide deck and leaves. We do neither. As your operating partner, we go inside the business and build durable infrastructure, documented SOPs, AI-assisted workflows, a project-management system that actually gets used, an aligned team, and leaders trained to run it. The greatest achievement you can have as a business owner is to build yourself out of day-to-day operations. Every engagement is designed with a defined exit. When the systems hold without us, we've done our job.
The role
What a Flagstaff-based fractional COO actually does
A fractional COO gives an owner-led company senior operations leadership for a fraction of an executive salary: part-time, embedded in the business, and accountable for outcomes rather than reports. In Arizona, that senior layer has usually meant a Phoenix firm, an out-of-state remote consultant, or going without. ESLR is the other option: a fractional COO based in Flagstaff who has launched markets for national companies and builds the systems inside your business, in person where it helps, then hands them over.
The role is scoped like a build, not a subscription. We map where your time is stuck, install the operating layer (process, project management, AI workflows, trained leaders), and define the graduation conditions up front. The full structure, including how engagements begin and end, is on the fractional COO page. For the statewide picture, Phoenix to Tucson, see the Arizona page.
For context
What the market charges for this work
We don't publish ESLR pricing on this page, but owners deserve context before a sales call, so here is what the wider market charges.
$3,000 to $15,000 a month
Across the market, fractional COO retainers typically run in this band, with advisory work at the low end and intensive embedded work at the top.
$308,000 to $518,000 a year
A full-time COO, in total annual employer cost, costs several multiples of a fractional engagement. For most owner-led Arizona companies, the full-time hire is the wrong first move.
What we install
Six capabilities, one senior operator.
Arizona companies hire us for a fractional COO or CMO, or for a single system. It's the same operating layer either way, pick the entry point that fits where you are.
A real Flagstaff founder
Local roots, work done at scale.
I'm based in Flagstaff and I run real businesses, not just decks about them. I co-founded Freaky Foot Tours in 2015; it now operates in Flagstaff, Prescott, and Tucson and runs day to day without me, a working proof of the build-yourself-out idea I bring to every client.I built expansion operations at Uber, Lime, and Sealed. Those were roles, not clients, and I label them that way on purpose. I hold a B.A. in History and Hydrology (Honors, University of Arizona) and a B.A. in Spanish from Universidad Nacional in Costa Rica, and I'm bilingual.
The local ecosystem
Where ESLR fits in Northern Arizona's startup ecosystem
Flagstaff has real entrepreneurial infrastructure: Moonshot AZ runs accelerator programming from what began as NACET, the Northern Arizona Center for Entrepreneurship and Technology; the Coconino SBDC advises local small-business owners; and Northern Arizona University's entrepreneurship programs feed the region founders and talent. ESLR is none of those things, and we're not affiliated with any of them. We're the private operating partner a company hires after the cohort ends or the advising hours run out: someone who comes inside the business, builds the systems, and trains the team that runs them.
If you came out of a Flagstaff or Phoenix program with traction and a founder-shaped bottleneck, that handoff point is exactly where we do our best work. Our client history is on the work page, and the founder's story is on the about page.
In Northern Arizona?
The first conversation can happen in person.
If you're in Flagstaff, Sedona, or Prescott, we can walk your operation instead of screen-sharing it. Either way, you'll leave with two or three concrete next steps.

How an engagement works
Built to make us unnecessary.
- 01
1 · Diagnose
We map how your business actually runs today, where time leaks, where you're the bottleneck, and which systems are missing.
- 02
2 · Install
We build the operating layer: SOPs, AI workflows, project management, alignment, and the leaders to run them.
- 03
3 · Train
Your team learns to operate and maintain what we built, with the documentation to keep it running.
- 04
4 · Graduate
We hand over ownership and step back. You keep the infrastructure; we're a call away if you want us.
